Outta Here

It's been a cold winter in Louisville, so we're looking forward to a family get together this weekend in Gulf Shores, AL. There really are perks to having family down there. Yeah it's not exactly tropical weather down there right now, but it beats this for sure. And yes we're looking forward to time with family and a little change of scenery. It will be interesting to see what the beaches look like after the hurricane tore through there over the summer. I'm told it's quite a sight to behold. I'll put pictures up when I get back.

I don't know the exact date, but right around now is the 32nd anniversery of the Roe v Wade decision that overruled state sovereignty in making abortion on demand legal in this country. My generation is a lot smaller because of it. Dr. Mohler has some thoughts today that are worth reading.

So I will probably not be blogging for a few days. There are some interesting things afoot in "the blogosphere" you might want to check out. Hugh Hewitt seems to be the hub for a lot of this stuff, but many of the "Godbloggers" are talking about having an organized network. Check out Razorskiss (added to my links on the right), Evangelical Outpost, and others you can link to from Hugh Hewitt's blog. A blog called Proverbial Wife has a nice summary up also. I'm interested in where all of this might go, but frankly don't know that I have the time to invest in it myself. I really enjoy doing this, I love writing and love this medium... I just wish I had more time to do it.

Since I won't be blogging, stroll over to the other Alex, a friend of mine who re-started his blog recently. Or see what David or Laura have to say.
