Tuesday notes

A few thoughts and notes for you today:

* The Evangelical Outpost is sponsoring a blog symposium on "Judeo-Christian Morality in an Ethically Pluralistic Society." Hope that's broad enough! Apparently there are actually prizes to the top three entries as adjudicated by an independent panel of judges. I thought a few of you might be curious to participate. I might if I can find the time...

* I need to humbly (or not!) note that, for the second year in a row, I won the NCAA tournament bracket group I was in. The Tar Heels carried the day for me!

* Baseball season is up and running now, and steroids notwithstanding, I do enjoy baseball season even though I never enjoyed playing baseball. Hopefully the Braves can continue their run of division titles and meet the Red Sox in the World Series, and hopefully the Reds (the local favorite here) can finish over .500. Of course, we have discovered that we really enjoy minor league baseball because it's affordable and a nice way to spend an evening outdoors with friends. If you haven't, support your local minor league team!

* Incredible weather here.... tough to get anything done when it's like this...

Alex-

I was reading Joe Carter today and saw his new links from earlier this week. I clicked on yours, and your name sounded familiar. I think we went to Furman together. I was the class of 1996. I was in WDA (Worldwide Discipleship Association.) Just wanted to see if this was the same Alex Forrest.
